Purple Day is an international grassroots campaign celebrated annually on March 26th to raise awareness about epilepsy, reduce stigma, and support those affected by the condition. Founded in 2008 by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, it encourages people to wear purple—the international color for epilepsy—and host events to educate others.
