Seniors’ Home Safety Program (SHSP) is a free service that provides information and tips to help seniors stay safe in their homes. It is for seniors 55+ living in Halifax, Dartmouth and communities extending from Bedford to the Sambro Loop. The program is delivered by trained volunteers, who are also seniors.

This public information-sharing event focused on Frauds & Scams. Participants will learn important safety information on several topics, including:

• Top 10 List of Scams
• Scams Targeting Seniors
• Social Media & Safety
• Preventing Identify Theft
• Shopping Online
