The society will be doing a special presentation on the History of the Hammonds Plains Road at the Bedford Library, starting at 6:15pm, this Thursday evening (January 29th), in case anyone is interested in attending. The presentation is entitled, ‘The Ups & Downs of HRM’s Yellow Brick Road – The History of the Hammonds Plains Road’. The presentation will explore the complex history of the road and the route it took to become what many consider the most talked-about highway in today’s HRM.
