SUMMARY:NSCA Cornhole Tournament in support of Bedford Lions Community Food Pantry
DESCRIPTION:The Nova Scotia Cornhole Association (NSCA) will be hosting an open cornhole tournament at the Bedford Lions Hall on Sat. Jan. 31st in support of the Bedford Lions Community Food Pantry. \nThe Bedford Lions Community Food Pantry is open 24/7 at 36 Holland Ave. Bedford and has been providing free food to the community since January of 2024. \nThe Nova Scotia Cornhole Association has always been a strong supporter of local community causes. In addition to supporting our Food Pantry they have raised more than $40\,000 for causes such as the IWK Children’s Hospital\, Breast Cancer Research\, and the Shoebox Project. \nSeeking prize and silent auction donations\nAt this time the Bedford Lions and NSCA are seeking donations such as gift cards to be used as prizes for participants or items for a silent auction which will be held during the tournament. \nRegister your team of 2 to play\nTeams of 2 from local businesses\, community groups or other residents are encouraged to participate in this tournament. Registration is $30 per person. Individual registrations are welcome and will be assigned a partner at the event. All funds raised\, including entrance fees\, will be donated to the cause. \nTo register\, please visit www.novascotiacornhole.ca.
